With Ashland out of the way, the Newman contingent made its way to Newman-Locke’s Chief Executive Officer’s office. Victoria was alone because Ashland agreed to allow Nikki to speak privately with his co-CEO and wife.

Nikki dropped the ruse after Ashland left and relayed her concerns. Victoria was surprised and angered by the turnabout.

The Newman’s are right to believe that Victoria is in danger. Ashland could easily take her hostage, which may have been what the request to return to Tuscany, Italy implied.

Y&R Spoilers – Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor Is Needed

Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) was not included in the Newman’s meetup. That seemed odd, despite the obsession with all things Chancellor.

TPTB have written Ordway’s character into a corner. She is often seen inside the walls of the Chancellor mansion, which evokes classic moments when Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) lamented her life’s many dramas in that setting.

Victoria and Abby are not overly close. However, Abby deserves to know what is happening and be part of the protective process. She can spare a few hours away from her husband and son, as everyone should have realized.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Ashland Locke Is Desperate

Ashland has repeatedly told Victoria that his love saved him. Heinle’s character could be in serious jeopardy if Ashland determines that she has changed her mind or even adjusted her stance to skeptical.

His suggestion that they need to get away from Genoa City, Wisconsin, felt like a pure play to flee the country. But rather than just avoiding family focus and looming legal charges, Ashland would seize control of Victoria. Hopefully, she avoids that dangerous option on Y&R.
