Ashland’s primary goal is to win back Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). It is confirmed that Victoria will struggle over Ashland saving her life. One bold move that could make Victoria even more conflicted is if Ashland returned the $500 million payout.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman’s Offer

Y&R spoilers reveal that Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) made Ashland an offer he couldn’t turn down. Even though Victoria and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) were furious with Adam, it seemed to work. Ashland signed the agreement, gave Victoria an annulment, and promised to leave town. In exchange, Victor wired $500 million to Ashland.

However, Adam’s victory was short-lived. Victor is out of half-a-billion dollars yet Ashland remains in Genoa City.

Y&R Spoilers – Ashland Locke’s Heroism

Victoria confessed to being done with Ashland after the agreement was signed. Even though Victoria was glad to be rid of him, she also still loved Ashland. Now that Victoria’s life was saved by Ashland, this adds a new complication to the storyline. It is confirmed that Ashland’s act will make it more difficult for Victoria to move on.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Head Writer on ‘Ashtoria’

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that head writer and co-executive producer Josh Griffith discussed May sweeps with Soap Opera Digest. The scribe discussed Victoria’s struggle, Ashland not leaving town, and what’s next for the Newman family.

“Ashland has saved Victoria’s life, which sort of turns her on her head. That doesn’t mean all is forgiven but it creates a fantastic dynamic and struggle in her, because she knows all of these things that he’s done to her, but he risked his life and injured himself to save hers, so it puts her in a position of conflict, which Victor won’t like one bit.”

Y&R Spoilers – Returns Money?

With Ashland not leaving town, Victor will step up his game a few notches. However, Ashland’s next move could make it even more difficult to get rid of him

“Ashland is so far from being done. He’s sort of that perfect neutron bomb in the middle of the Newman family and no matter what Victor does, he can’t seem to get rid of this guy.”

What if Ashland gives back the $500 million but stays away from Newman Enterprises? That might be a show of good faith to Victoria. This would certainly be bad news for Victor and make it more difficult to get him out of town. We will have to keep watching the CBS soap to see how this storyline develops during May sweeps.

      I don't want to see Ashland return the money because that will just take this already boring story around in a circle. Enough with the repeated dialog about Ashland and Victoria. Its been harshed to death repeatedly in the same office scenes, for goodness sake move on! Nick take the quarter of a million and lets see a new story with Nick taking on Sharon in his company and together them doing some New Hope Charity stories. Nick can give her a job to help her after Reys loss. They don't need to start dating. Some of the best stories are the will they won't they in programs and that could add to their stories. We need to get off this Ashland/Victoria not so merry go round and move on its done already.

      I think I don’t care about him giving back the money but Victor need to give the CEO position to Adam . I’m sick of Victoria who almost lost the company and is so jealous of Adam but would make a bigger crook the Co-CEO and I’m tried of Nicky also .

      Ashland does NOT return the $500 million. . 

      He offers to donate to New Hope in Rey’s name.

      He gets the tax deduction for charity donation.
