Fans speculated Ashland Locke (Robert Newman) faked his cancer. So, the twist must be something else. With the theory that Victoria Newman-Locke (Amelia Heinle) causes Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) death, could Ashland prove his love by taking the blame?

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Rey will be making an exit soon. It is teased that Rey could end up dying. One clue is that Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) plan to marry on Friday, May 13. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) instantly said it was a bad idea. Perhaps there is something to Sharon’s superstitious beliefs.

Then, we have Sharon going through déjà vu. As fans recall, Cassie Newman (Camryn Grimes) died in a fatal car crash. Although it was in May, the date wasn’t the 13th but 11 days later. Then, Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) nearly died in a car crash.

If Rey ends up losing his life in a collision, that will tie a lot of stories together. Especially if Victoria ends up being the driver who causes Rey’s death.

Now, Victoria might not do it intentionally. Perhaps she gets upset and the tears blur her vision. Maybe she reads a text message from Ashland or her family. In any case, some fans think that Victoria will be the person responsible for Rey’s death.

If Ashland truly is sincere about loving Victoria, he will need redemption. One surefire way to prove his love to her is by taking the blame for the crash. Maybe Ashland even goes to prison for Victoria. That would surely set up some interesting dynamics with Ashland, Victoria, Sharon, as well as the families involved.

      I hate the idea of Rey getting killed off. Should be Ashland. So stupid to keep killing every body off, only to bring them back from the dead. So dumb.
