The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Ashley Plays Dangerous Game – Tucker Has Nothing To Lose

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) is teased to return from Paris, France. She felt compelled to leave town after learning that Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) betrayed Devon Hamilton’s (Bryton James) trust.

It was reasonable for Tucker and a segment of the audience to believe that Ashley overreacted. She was looking for a reason to distrust him and allowed herself to become closer to Tucker than anticipated.

Ashley clearly still has feelings for Tucker. But she remains caught in wanting to punish him for fooling around with Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) more than a decade ago during their marriage.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Okay, But What About The Jabot Takeover Attempt?

Tucker appeared to be open with Ashley after she found paperwork about Jabot’s financials in his suite at the Grand Phoenix hotel. He made a few claims about that intelligence.

St. John’s character said he wanted Ashley to run Jabot, feeling it was her right to do so rather than Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman). Trevor added that he wanted to help Ashley build her own company and break free from Jabot.

Devoted fans know that Ashley founded My Beauty, using the realized patents that were discovered during the time her mother, Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams), was revisiting various Abbott family backstories. But Ashley later agreed to connect her company to Jabot.

So, Tucker’s ideas about Ashley’s independence seem to go against what she decided in the recent past.

Y&R Spoilers – Tucker McCall Wants Love

Tucker does not know how to trust people and stick to his intentions. His childhood and early adult experiences taught him to be self-reliant, which could be tagged as self-involved if one wanted to do so. Ashley does.

There is no doubt that Tucker wants to reconcile with Ashley. He loves her. But his many actions, including recent ones, are devious.

Ashley seems incapable of wanting to help Tucker become a better person. She is inclined to seek vengeance against him, telling herself he deserves it.

Tucker became angry with Devon when his son told him he plans on letting everyone in Genoa City, Wisconsin know he is a snake. Tucker felt Devon was not demonstrating the proper respect a son should show his father.

Just as Devon does not see Tucker as his real father, Ashley believes St. John’s character does not truly love her. She feels he wants to control her life, and Ashley, like Tucker, falls into the lone wolf category.

So, rather than reconciliation, Ashley’s teased plan to trap Tucker implies a fierce, explosive battle is ahead on Y&R.
