Now that they’re back in GC however, the glow is fading with the possibility that good twin Martin is really bad twin Alan! Here’s what to know.

Back in Paris, Martin Laurent (Christopher Cousins) came out of the woodwork and supposedly met his maker. Uh huh. This is a soap opera and any fan worth his salt knows that 1. Death is not permanent and 2. Evil twins have 18 lives.

Which is why some fans are convinced that poor Traci could be in for more sadness. She really does seem to live in the shadow of beautiful Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) doesn’t she? Just when we thought she had struck gold, Traci may have found a landmine instead.

Martin fell off a balcony to his death or so we’ve been told. How easy would it be to pull a switcheroo and have Martin take Alan’s place?

The show is amping up the rumor mill with little inconsistencies such as Alan not recognizing the Abbott mansion that he’s been in before.

Then again, they could be working up to an Alzheimer’s story—take your pick. Traci is loving Alan’s attention and it’s easy to suspect that a proposal is headed her way.

Alan and Traci’s romance is moving at warp speed but they did bond in intense circumstances and each is mature enough to know that tomorrow is not a promise.

It may fall on Traci’s family, including Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson), and Abby Newman-Abbott (Melissa Ordway) to suggest that Traci slow down before locking herself into marriage. Will Traci pull a Prince Harry and sign away her life to a grifter?

Then there’s Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) who is set to return to town and possibly find more inconsistencies with Alan. Unlike the others, she knows Alan well and could sniff out any fakery.
Well, this is a bummer Y&R fans.
