Y&R spoilers reveal that Ashley has finally come back to Genoa City. Ashley was in Paris in a mental health facility getting treatment for DID.

Abby Winters (Melissa Ordway) wouldn’t get married unless her mother could be there. So, Abby was thankful that Ashley returned just in time to see her marry Devon Winters (Bryton James).

While Ashley does seem to be a lot better, there also seems to be something troubling her. Ashley mentioned that she gave Mrs. Martinez two days off as she wanted to spend time with Dominic Newman-Abbott-Winters-Chancellor (River and Rainn Ware). Abby seemed caught off guard by that, but quickly accepted Ashley’s explanation.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that in the December 10, 2024, episode, Ashley told Abby that she is having nightmares about Paris. Abby wondered if the DID was truly gone, but Ashley didn’t really answer.

Instead, Ashley simply repeated what the clinic said about her progress. So, that makes it sound like Ashley’s alters might come back to cause more chaos.

Y&R Spoilers – Alan Lauren’s Distraction

Normally, Alan Laurent (Christopher Cousins) would notice if Ashley was starting to behave oddly again. However, Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) has asked Alan to hypnotize her.

Sharon is desperate for answers about her tainted medication, Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom)  murder, and about Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) accident. So, Alan could be hyperfocused on helping Sharon and miss the signs that Ashley is crumbling mentally again.

Another thing to keep in mind is that with DID, usually the repressed memories need to surface. That includes remembering things that are painful and that caused the DID to begin with.

This could be really uncomfortable or even terrifying for Ashley. So, that’s another big sign that Ashley’s mental health storyline isn’t over yet. 

With Jordan (Colleen Zenk) and Ian Ward (Ray Wise) on the loose, how will they factor into Ashley’s illness.

Even though Ashley doesn’t seem to be on Ian and Jordan’s radar, she is connected to the Newman family. I could also see Jordan getting the bright idea to use Ashley’s delusions to further cause chaos.
