Glissade is the vehicle Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) owns. He purposefully used Audra to acquire the cosmetic company clandestinely. Adding Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor) increases the odds that Victor’s plan will succeed.

Telling Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) that Victor is Glissade’s secret investor was a mistake. It will likely cost Audra her job.

So, telling Audra that no one should be informed about his secret backing of Glissade was not something she should have violated. But Audra has been attracted to Nate for a while and divulged that critical intel to him.

It will be interesting to see if or how Nate uses that information. But Victor’s specific realization of what Audra did will create a break. She’s already successfully pushed Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) out of Glissade.

She is not vital to the subsequent phases of Victor’s efforts to attack Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) and, eventually, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

Y&R Spoilers – Devon Winters Must Approve

Devon Winters (Bryton James) has recently been brought into Victor’s inner circle. The head of the restored Winters standalone business was told about Victor’s intent to go after Abbott Chancellor.

Telegraphing the next moves isn’t an exact science. Audra could be forced to resign, but she will most likely be fired.

What better spot for her to land or return to than the Winters’ family business, or so Nate might think. He could push for his developing significant other to apply her talents at that company.

But Devon will surely question such a move if it’s offered. He just got Billy out and does not want another overly aggressive and reckless personality type to destabilize matters.

Nate admitted his mistakes in the past. Like Audra, he looked out for himself first. Their similar personality types are a factor in their mutual attraction.

Being drawn to Audra implies that Nate agrees with her outlook on life. However, it’s always possible that this potential new couple could enhance each other’s lives because they would stabilize them.

Maybe Nate and Audra are the way they are because they don’t have a soul mate. People’s longing for love is why they use business to lash out.

Whether they work together shortly or not, there is real potential for this pairing to bond personally, and with that, both people could realize growth through marriage.
