The Young and the Restless spoilers and updates tease that there could be a surprising twist in Diane Jenkins’ (Susan Walters) storyline. Diane may end up getting what she wants and when that happens, how will it affect the lives of those around her?
Fans may recall that Diane returned to reunite with her son Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). Jack had no choice but to tell his son that his mother, who abandoned them and pretended to be dead, was alive after all.
The Young and the Restless head writer, Josh Griffith, hinted that Kyle may eventually start to accept the fact that his mother is alive. He may let go of his resentment and start to accept Diane back into his life.
If Kyle is able to let go of the past, does this mean Jack can, too? If Jack starts to forgive Diane, will the latter take advantage of the situation and try to get back with him? How will Phillys Newman (Michelle Stafford) react?

Y&R spoilers show Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) has her work cut out for her. Kyle may be willing to give her a chance but she needs to prove herself. She’ll continue to struggle as she believes that Kyle won’t be able to look past all of her mistakes.
She’ll fear that her son will never accept her but she’ll do all she can to rebuild her relationship with Kyle. Jack may even start to forgive her for abandoning them all these years. Diane will surely be thrilled at the idea of Jack allowing her back into their lives.
Later on, Jack will gather the Abbotts for a meeting. They will also have a surprise guest, which could be Allie Nguyen (Kelsey Wang).

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Threatens To Leave The Newmans
Meanwhile, Y&R spoilers tease Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) will be furious after losing his shot at being co-CEO because of Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle). He’ll threaten to leave the family for good.
But it doesn’t seem like it’ll happen anytime soon. Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) will be there to calm Adam down. She may encourage him to focus on running Newman Media and to not allow Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) to ruin everything he’s worked for.

Something needs to start happening with the Diana/Kyle story because its currently going in the same direction as the Newman/Ashland story. By that I mean every episode week in and out walking into the same set room and repeating the same dialog. How many times have we now watched a Newman office " what do we do about Ashland" scene play out. Now we also are beginning to watch the " can you forgive me Kyle" scene now in almost every episode.
I am not now nor have I ever been a fan of the Diane Jenkins character and now they've brought her back from the dead ! That has been so over done and not very well done ! As for Adam leaving the Newman's again over done. I have no idea why they writers consistently pit the Newman siblings against Adam …he has never been accepted by them long before he ever caused them a problem. I think it has everything to do with the fact that he is the only other Victor Newman, Nick and Victoria have been jealous of him and his business degree and he really is a smart guy ..he can also be ruthless like his father …they are writing Victoria as ruthless and it's sad and not ringing true ..her hatred for Adam is first and front and center and Nikki has never been any different with Adam either she has never tired to bring the siblings together ..they treated Abby the same way till she agreed to throw in against Victor in the law suit which they won which just happened to be the same about they gave Ashland Locke to leave the company and annul his marriage to Victoria !
The Diane story was before I began watching, so the only opinion I have is based on this current situation which as I mentioned is getting boring with the ever episode "can you forgive me" speach. I am totally in agreement with you about Adam and the Newman family. You're right its the same old thing they do with Adam and it would be great to see a refreshing change.
