The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Billy Abbott Plays Sally Like A Fiddle

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is determined. He is playing at a higher level than ever before in his attempt to right wrongs, put two Newman’s in their places, and realize some form of gain from the strenuous Ashland Locke (Richard Burgi) effort that backfired badly.

Billy is a known gambler. But this storyline is atypical, as his use of Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) demonstrates.

Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) picked up on something unusual. Billy’s tell to Sally about his state of mind seemed suspect, and it was.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Adam Newman Believes Billy Abbott Is Beneath Him

Adam holds the same view of Billy as Victor Newman (Eric Braeden). Both arrogant Newman’s believe that the man who lost his father, John Abbott (played by the late, great and recently passed Jerry Douglas), and daughter, Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono), is not a threat.

Billy enters this serious game knowing how he is perceived by his enemies. He hopes to use that perception as a weapon against both louts.

Of course, Adam is the man who is believed to have accidentally killed Delia. And Victor once stole Jabot from John. So, the rotten apple, Adam, has not fallen far from the poisoned tree, Victor.

Y&R Spoilers – Victor Newman Does Not See The Mirror

Victor has no reason to loathe Billy. But he told Thompson’s character he does for a reason that was petty and exaggerated.

Again evoking his tired orphan story, Victor told a rare, direct truth to Billy when asked. Why does the Moustache despise him? Well, Billy was born with a silver spoon in his mouth.

Victor has stolen more silver spoons than are produced annually by every factory on earth. Compared to John’s younger son, Billy, Adam’s personal history and reputation are far more egregious than Victor’s younger son.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sally Spectra Has A Weakness

Sally is undisciplined. Billy senses that.  So, Adam’s use of Sally as a mole is understood. But it may be foolish and eventually damaging.

Billy wants to turn the game on Adam and use Sally as a weapon. The message Billy purposely sent through Sally, that he was reeling, felt like a test rocket.

Adam is falling for Sally. That distraction could be enough for Billy to exploit as his plan for a full reversal of fortunate unfolds.
