While this extended tease could develop into a likable pairing, it’s also possible that Amanda’s pursuit of her backstory creates an impasse.

However, the many editions of Villy mean that this many times couples could become that again at almost any point. Vickie’s current lack of interest in any particular man is the result of a focus shift to business. So, when she’s ready to risk her heart again, it will be interesting to see if Billy is a man of interest or one of them.

Finally learning her family identity proved overwhelming. Confirming that she had an identical twin made the reveal all the more personal.

Amanda arrived in town last year with pure business intentions. But everywhere she went people reacted to her face. Different than the natural reaction to its photogenic nature, Genoa City, Wisconsin, residents held their gaze in stunned response.

Now, after proving that Hilary Hamilton (Morgan) was her sister, Amanda can begin to learn more about herself. Billy is a natural ally in this mission, which will surely further a deepening of the emotional bond between them.

It isn’t clear that Y&R will absolutely pair these characters, but the reasons not to seem cloudy at best. Both people are single. They like each other and appear to be right fits at this point in their lives.

Billy will probably always be Billy, but maybe Amanda’s unique influence will have an unexpected effect, causing him to sustain stability?

As for Amanda, she needs someone who will be devoted to her. The enormity of her life’s news means that she needs to center herself. Can Billy be the guy that helps that to happen? He thinks so and maybe she will as well.
