He puts it this way, “She is not risking Chancellor’s livelihood by giving Billy and Lily positions they are not qualified for. Jill knows that Billy and Lily have the skills to put Chancellor’s communication division on the map. Jill considers Lily’s family and trusts her completely not only to work at Chancellor but to help stabilize Billy, as well.”

However, everyone knows that is something easier said than done. And while these two have maintained a friendship, let’s not forget that were once romantically involved, too. Even though they do get along well, they still have a very different vision when it comes to the future of Chancellor Communications. Billy wants it to be cool and hip in the digital world while Lily is taking a more pragmatic approach to this business model. The two are going to clash and in more ways than one.
