Chelsea said in her mind, it was just a “wild night that went too far,” But now, she knows it was so much more profound, and that is why she needed to say sorry for her behavior. Billy didn’t feel like she took advantage of him. Billy said he thought why not have fun with her at the time?

Y&R Spoilers – Fans Express Their Concern For The Irresponsible Writing

On Twitter, the Young and the Restless viewers unleash their disappointment in the writing of Chelsea and Billy’s scenes. They said it was “disgusting” for Y&R to put Billy, the victim, in the position of reliving the trauma of being sexually assaulted.

Others felt it didn’t match how well Chelsea’s suicide storyline was written. A few commented that the writers didn’t take Billy’s pain seriously because he was a man. There are many people out there that think that men cannot be raped. If they accuse someone of raping them, they are more likely to be accused of lying about the incident.
