The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy Has DID, His Dark Side Comes Out, Chloe In Danger?

The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy Has DID, His Dark Side Comes Out, Chloe In Danger? The Young and the Restless spoilers tease that Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) will explore his dark side this week on Y & R!

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Billy Abbott Has DID, Or Dissociative Identity Disorder

As Y & R viewers now know, Billy Abbott has DID, or Dissociative Identity Disorder, although yet undiagnosed. Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) has been keeping him in the Chancellor boathouse after rescuing Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and pushing him out of the way as Billy tried to run him down in the same spot where Billy and Chloe’s daughter Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono) was killed when Adam ran over her a few years ago.

Billy has been haunted by Delia’s death ever since Adam came back to Genoa City, and Chloe, against the advice of Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) has been trying to help Billy with his problems herself, thinking it was only the results of deep grief and maybe a little PTSD brought on by Adam’s return. But Chloe is no professional psychiatrist, and little does she know how dangerous Billy could be in his alternate personality, or alter, and there may even be more than one that springs from his fractured psyche!

Y&R Spoilers – Billy Abbott’s Alter, Or Alters, May Make Themselves Known To Chloe Mitchell

Billy, so to speak in his right mind, won’t be aware of what his wrong mind or minds are doing or planning. One alter has come that chews gum, which Billy in his right mind doesn’t do. Sometimes people suffering from this disorder, which was made famous in such movies as “Sybil” in 1976 and “The Three Faces of Eve” in the 1950s, will manifest even more alters, or personalities, which represent different parts of their psyches, which are fractured.

This disorder has been featured in many soaps, including the defunct ABC soap “One Life To Live” and more recently on the NBC soap “Days of our Lives” but Billy may be the first male in soap opera history to suffer from this disorder, all the others mentioned being female. Sometimes the different alters even give themselves different names than the main personality, and wear radically different clothing styles and at times wigs to change their appearances. So far, Billy’s dark side only chews gum!

Young & The Restless Spoilers – Dark Billy Abbott Will Become Predominant Over Regular Billy Abbott

As explained in the previous paragraph, Billy “exploring” his dark side really isn’t possible because he is not aware of Dark Billy’s existence; rather, Dark Billy will become predominant over regular Billy and if this happens while Chloe is still trying to keep him in the boathouse, it may be dangerous for her and at the very least, very frightening! Dark Billy may even exhibit physical strength greater than regular Billy, and he could break out of his leg splint and out of the boathouse and escape! Dark Billy will not have the moral constraints of regular Billy, and he may wreak some havoc!

    What did billy do

  2. Sunni928 says

@Kenya Sanders – Billy’s other personality tried to run Adam over. He lured him to the site when Delia, Billy’s daughter, was killed by Adam. Chloe realized that is what Billy was going to do, and pushed Billy out of the way. Billy hurt his leg and Chloe kept him in the boathouse. It was the same boathouse where Neil kept Hilary as well.
