The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Billy On A Collision Course With Tragedy – Victor Suggests Tough Love

Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) is experiencing a classic midlife crisis on ‘The Young and the Restless’. He left his secure job at the family company, Jabot, and now has left the love of his life, Vickie Newman (Amelia Heinle), and his children.

He recently stood on the ledge of the Grand Phoenix with Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan). They both looked down at the Genoa City, Wisconsin, streets and let out a primal scream. Amanda was releasing tension, after dealing with her ex-boyfriend. Billy was actually calling for help that he’s convinced himself he doesn’t need.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Doing The Least Damage

Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) returned from Paris, France. That’s linked to Y&R’s recognition of Eric Braeden (Victor Newman), who’s celebrating his fortieth anniversary on this iconic soap opera.

Billy happened upon ‘Ash’ at GC’s newest hotel. Davidson’s character informed her brother that she was sad for him, but also encouraged Billy to find his truth.

The above actually felt like a split admission, when considering Ashley’s reference to the damage her mother, Dina Mergeron (Marla Adams), caused decades ago. But, as Ashley said, Dina also blazed a trail that she’s now followed. So, Miss Abbott recognizes Billy’s need to find himself but also sees that his pursuit comes with consequences.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Foes Initially Think Differently

Victor stunned Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman), who went to the Ranch to see him about ‘Villy’s’ break that Billy caused. At first, it seemed as though Victor was simply lashing out at Thompson’s character.

But as Jack defended his reeling brother’s latest actions, Victor stopped his verbal replies with a reveal. Jack had no idea that Billy was the person who tried to run Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) down last year. That led to Adam assuming Victor was responsible and then nearly killing him off with double-dosed medicine, though that scenario was accidental.

These longtime foes were still thinking differently about ‘Billy-boy’ by the time Jack left Victor’s home base. However, Bergman’s character might be forced to heed the advice about letting Billy bottom out because he’s seemingly unstoppable at this point.

Young And The Restless Spoilers – Intentionally Alienating Family and Friends

Smashing a brand new sports car is the most egregious physical action he’s taken, which has Amanda rightly worried. Thankfully Nate Hastings (Sean Dominic) checked Billy out after the crash, as it appears he isn’t suffering from a concussion.

Billy is actually desperate. He’s covering his pain with reckless acts that are damaging relationships with family and friends, while also increasingly putting his own life at risk.

Unless something alters his course, Billy is on a catastrophic pace. Hopefully, he’s somehow able to avoid tragedy until someone stops him, or maybe as Victor suggested, Billy stops himself.

Bills character is a mess. Do they plan on killing him off or having us suffer more thru his bs?
