The Young and The Restless Spoilers: Cane In Trouble, Devon Accuses Him Of Fraud – Will He Be Arrested?

The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that there’s trouble in Genoa City, and Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) will find himself right in the middle of it!

Cane Ashby Is Named In A Questionable Copy Of Katherine Chancellor’s “Real Will”

As The Young and The Restless viewers know, Cane is named in a questionable copy of Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) “real will” as being the true heir to the exact sum of money that Katherine had left to Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) in what all the family members believe was her real, original will.

A recent meeting at Devon’s home, where Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) showed up and a letter was delivered to her AT Devon’s home AT that meeting containing the “real will” and supposedly from Chance Chancellor (John Driscoll), was suspicious enough. Add to that Amanda’s doppelganger appearance to Devon’s late wife Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan) and Cane happening to accompany Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) TO the meeting for moral support where he FINDS OUT he is the true heir is just a little bit TOO convenient!

Jill Abbott Knows Chance Chancellor Would Not Have Done This

Jill knows that Chance would not be behind this and would not have overnighted a special delivery letter to this Amanda Sinclair when JILL can’t even get ahold of him! Besides, it’s just not something that would be in Chance’s nature to do! Devon immediately pointed the finger at Cane, and accused him of being behind the whole thing, possibly citing his relation to an Australian mob family.

This “real will” was said to have found after a deathbed confession from a lawyer who supposedly worked on the will to Tucker McCall (Stephen Nichols). Tucker’s been known to be a bit on the sneaky side (as who hasn’t in Genoa City?) but Jill can’t get ahold of him either to get anything verified or not!

Whoever Is Doing This Knows The Family And Possibly Knew Katherine Chancellor

Cane has been a little on the sneaky side as well in the past, but as previously mentioned, who hasn’t been who lives in Genoa City? Perhaps the Abbott and the Newman children, since they haven’t learned to be yet, but they have some prime examples to follow!

Devon, however, will be suspicious enough to not only accuse Cane of being behind the whole thing, he will likely point out that Cane knew Hilary, even before she and Devon got together; he knew Katherine; he knows Chance; he knows Tucker and he knows Jill and the rest of the family; and he’s married to Devon’s adoptive sister, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil)! Interestingly enough, her full name is Lily AMANDA Winters Ashby! That has GOT to be another coincidence that may not BE such a coincidence after all!

So Exactly What Kind Of Trouble Might Cane Ashby Be In?

Devon might accuse Cane of fraud and with that kind of money being talked about, it’s possible that Devon could get Cane arrested or at least countersued in court over the will challenge until fraud can be proven! There are just too many coincidences that cannot be coincidences about this whole scenario and too many things too convenient for it not to be a scam, at least as far as Jill and Devon and Devon’s supporters are concerned!
