Carter Stabs Cane & Frames Damian?
Cane has worked hard to acquire his wealth and achieve billionaire status by having a twisted double life. Lily had no idea of his business dealings all these years. He likely saw his family (the twins and Lily) during this time.
To win Lily over, he will need to act quickly to cut the growing bond she has with Damian. That’s where Carter (Vincent Stalba) comes in. Cane orders him to stab him, setting the stage to frame Damian for the crime.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Cane’s plan to frame Damian for murder is a ploy to manipulate Lily into believing Damian is not what he seems. He needs to create doubt in her mind, so she creates some distance with him.

Cane invited Chance Chancellor (Connor Floyd) to France for protection. He told the detective he was positive someone was trying to kill him. He wanted him there in case they attacked him. He needed him to make sure this person would face justice.
The Young and the Restless spoilers state that Chance isn’t sure he believes Cane’s story. But he loves a good mystery, so he came along for the ride.
Social media users pointed out that having Chance there doesn’t make sense. If he was truly scared of an attack, he could have called the local police and had a peace officer present while his guests were there.
The Knife Set Is A Clue
On the train, Y&R zeroed in on a knife set. There would be little need for a knife set like that unless someone was plotting an attack.

Then there’s the weekly promo. A black gloved hand is holding one of the knives from the set, while a scream can be heard from the distance.
The only thing that makes sense in this storyline is that Cane sets up an attack by someone who is on his payroll, while framing Damian for the crime. It would serve a couple of purposes: One separates Damian and Lily, and two, creates the illusion of someone being after Cane.

Sure, Cane is not to be trusted…. Will Claire fall for Holden? Sleep with him? She was a sheltered young girl manipulated by her Aunt most of her life until she met her real parents. Sadly, they wrote Cole out… so that Victoria and Nate can get together, as they did once before? That would mean Audra betrays Nate… we’ll see how that turns out, with her teasing Kyle… Phyllis is and always has been all about herself. I’m sure Cane will betray her, too.
Danny and Christine (Cricket) is one of the nicest things to happen on the Y and R show. But, what happened with her and Paul? They were a good couple, as far as I am concerned, but I don’t wrote the Y & R… I just watch it and wait to see what happens. I can see Daniel and Tessa getting together…
When will they let us in and what happened with Mariah? I wanted them to be happy with Aria and what looked like a good relationship. What will Sharon think? When do they all come back from Nice?

I think the plan to frame Damien is brilliant. I never Ccould see the actor that plays Damien a fit for Lilly. She is way too classy.
I love love love the new Cane but it sounds like he is going to be so hated that he will be written out way before his time. I hope Billy Flynn is going to be around for a long long time!
