The news causes Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) to panic, as she realizes that if Heather Stevens (Vail Bloom) cannot locate him, Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell) will crucify her in Jeremy Stark’s (James Hyde) murder trial.

Phyllis admits that she knew Carson would come forward before Heather. The reason she knew was that Tucker McCall (Trevor St John) was the one who found him. But Tucker wants something from her, and she’s not sure she wants to fulfill her side of the bargain.
The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Phyllis explains that Tucker promised Carson would confirm her self-defense story as long as she agrees to work for him to throw Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) off her game at Jabot. Phyllis says that it’s all part of Tucker’s plan to create a new company with Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson), and they need her to continue her vendetta with Diane.
Phyllis’s story stuns Heather. She needs time to figure out how to keep Carson as her witness and defuse Tucker’s threat. She requests that Phyllis stay calm and play nice with Tucker for now.
