The Young And The Restless Spoilers: ‘Chadam’ Reunion Possible, But Billy Stands In the Way?

The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease a reunion between Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) and Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) may be possible. Adam’s going to be stinging after Sally Spectra’s (Courtney Hope) rejection, but will Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson) overprotect Chelsea and stand in the way?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Family Matters

Family matters to Adam, even though with the Newman family he frequently self-destructs his relationships, self-destructing his romance with Sally for her own good. That is why he has been the black sheep and the pariah to most of them, even though Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) has tried many times with his youngest son. The rest of the Newmans as a whole view Adam as manipulative, although at one point Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow) saw a different side to him.

Adam was on the run, but saved a drunken Faith Newman (Reylynn Caster) from a wreck, anonymously getting her to the ER. He later donated a kidney, and saved Nick’s life when they were trapped in a basement after a tornado in Kansas-Adam did good.

Y & R Spoilers – There Will Always Be A Bond

There’s no denying that Adam and Chelsea will always have a bond, that is because they share a child, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). But Billy and Chelsea share a child too, Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) although Johnny just found out, as did Connor, and Chelsea had to take a step back from Johnny.

But Billy and Chelsea share a different bond as well, the one created when he pulled her off a ledge when she was in such despair she nearly jumped. Billy and Adam have been at odds ever since Adam accidentally ran over and killed Billy’s daughter Delia Abbott (Sophie Pollono). One can easily see Billy noticing Adam moving closer to Chelsea again and overprotecting her, standing in the way of a ‘Chadam’ reunion.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Back Off

Adam will soon have to step in and perhaps take a page from his dad’s playbook, saying back off, Billy Boy! Adam will want to be the one to be there for Chelsea, perhaps feeling guilty that he wasn’t there for her when she needed him. Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) even noticed that Adam seemed jealous over Chelsea, perhaps with a tinge of guilt mixed in.

There could soon be a new triangle in Salem with Chelsea at the center, and Adam and Billy fighting over her. That can’t be good for either Chelsea or Connor, the last thing she needs is more drama with her blaming herself.
