Y&R spoilers reveal that on Monday, January 17, Devon and Amanda will pay a visit to the Chancellor manse. Devon is ready to move forward with the custody battle. However, he feels it’s best for him to tell Abby and Chance in person. When Devon shows up with Amanda, Abby knows this isn’t good and won’t discuss anything until Chance comes home.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that while Abby is screaming, making demands, and allegations, Chance deals with it much differently. Chance and Amanda sit down and have a calm conversation… like adults are supposed to.

Amanda tells Chance why Devon is going for custody and why she’s representing him. It’s not because they are together romantically, but due to her own experiences of not having parents. Then, Chance is able to share his thoughts on the matter.

In the end, Chance realizes what Devon’s goal is while Amanda empathizes with Chance’s position. This could actually work out in everyone’s favor. Later, Amanda tells Devon that it’s a complicated situation but she feels for Chance’s situation.

Chance will likely try to reason with Abby that it’s not a personal attack. In fact, Chance might come up with a compromise that will make everyone happy without going to court. However, will Abby agree? It is teased that Abby will make a difficult decision. So, it sounds as if Chance might encourage Abby to make a deal with Devon. Abby also gets guidance from Christine Williams (Lauralee Bell). A long, bitter, drawn-out court battle isn’t good for anyone, including Dominic.
