The health crisis is serious, but there could be a silver lining in this story. It’s possible that the medical emergency will push Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) to finally bond with his son.

Y&R spoilers reveal that when Chance came back to Genoa City, he tried to bond with his son. However, that hasn’t happened and the PTSD sure doesn’t help the situation. By now, Chance might have had the opportunity to really connect with Dom if Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) hadn’t pushed for shared custody. Chance needs more time with Dom to truly connect, not less.
At one point, Chance told Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) that he had a “void” when it came to fatherhood. Chance even suggested he might be just like his father.

During the week of February 7, Dom will go through a health emergency. Blood tests show that there is something wrong with the baby. More testing is needed and the doctor pushes Abby not to wait. The doctor suspects the low red blood cell count might be the result of a bone marrow problem.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Abby is terrified and Devon fears the worst. As for Chance, he is also concerned but trying to keep it together for Abby’s sake. It is teased that Chance has a setback but this might not be related to his PTSD. It might be Chance fearing losing his son.

Y&R Spoilers – Silver Lining
Perhaps this bone marrow storyline is exactly what Chance needs to finally bond with Dominic. There is nothing like fearing losing a child that brings a parent even closer to their kids. Chance probably does have a bond with Dominic but hasn’t had enough time to connect with him, or the PTSD somehow blocked it. Trauma can do strange things to people, so this certainly is a possibility. In that case, the health crisis could be a silver lining that finally brings the father and son together.

Yes that would be nice if y & r can do that for Chance to bond with his son Dominic I watched it today and loved the bond and hope you're not all saying that cute little guy is Stitch's its not and Mariah carried till he was born and if she finds out, she'd want him behind bars like I do.. I also don't want Devon to keep calling him 'my son' when its not his.
Please let Chance and Dom bond, even if it is Stitch’s son will be better than Devon going around saying he is his Dad.

Steffy is awsome, she needs to do what her grandmother tried to do for years. let the spencers and logans merge and the foresters unite. that should be a rivelry.

It's been a year of complete nonsense. Abby the brat who can't wait 5mins to have a baby. The husband who takes a job to run away from her and her sniveling. The baby crew making a baby like its a new dress for Abbys collection. All this crap with a biracial child in the mix! It was a disaster waiting to happen. Just end it, I hope the child belongs to Mariah and an anonymous doner.
