The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) and Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) could couple up and heal each other’s hearts. Rey Rosales’ (Jordi Vilasuso) old partner and Sharon have lots in common, and she’s used to being a cop’s wife, and was married to Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) even before Rey.

Y&R spoilers tease Sharon and Chance may be exactly the perfect match, she’s used to how a cop’s life works and knows what to expect. Plus, Chance dealt with some post-traumatic stress disorder upon his return from Spain, and not only is Sharon a therapist, her former husband Dylan had it too. Their marriage ended when Dylan left to enter into the witness protection program, so Sharon is not unfamiliar with the danger aspect.

Chance and Sharon are already close friends due to his being Rey’s partner, and she was touched that he wanted to close all Rey’s open cases after his untimely death. Doing so helped Chance with his grief for Rey and eventually Sharon will be ready to date again.

Chance is dealing with the sudden death of his marriage as well, although it’s not being widowed like it was with Sharon. He sees no hope for reconciliation with Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) after catching her en flagrante delicto with Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) nor does he want to. To Abby, police work and going on missions is like a mistress, and she expects Chance to put her ahead of work. He wouldn’t have that problem with Sharon, she’s used to it and she understands what it is, and they’ll have had a good talk on November 14. She noticed him at Crimson Lights looking exhausted like Rey used to and reaches out to him, and notes she saw the tension between him and Abby.

Chance didn’t tell Sharon everything, and she didn’t tell him what to do, but hoped he and Abby could compromise since she considers his work his mistress. Chance admits Abby has constantly been trying to change him and mold him into her ideal man and he wasn’t going to change, solving cases and catching crooks is his life. Sharon is understanding of that and would be a much better life partner for Chance than Abby.
