The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Chance Chancellor’s Heroic Exit – Saves Cane Ashby From Murder Plot?

The Young and the Restless spoilers note that fans raised an eyebrow when Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) was invited to Cane Ashby’s (Billy Flynn) big Aristotle Dumas party in France.

Still, during the Tuesday, June 24 show, it was revealed that Cane asked him there, hoping he could put his police detective skills to use.

Cane believes that by week’s end, someone will attempt to murder him. Joshua Morrow (Nick Newman) talked about a murder mystery arc during a Cameo video some weeks back, and it looks like this is it. Still, could Chance end up meeting his demise by saving Cane?

Chance Chancellor’s Exit Storyline

News hit on Monday, June 23 that Conner Floyd is heading to Days of Our Lives, stepping into the role of Chad DiMera; the very character Billy Flynn exited to come to the Y&R.

Floyd began shooting on June 23, which means, his days are numbered, so to speak, in the land of Genoa City.

While Chance doesn’t necessarily need to pass away or even officially “exit” GC as the character was on recurring status, fans can’t help but feel as if tragedy could strike in Nice, and Chance could end up getting caught in the crossfire of Cane’s drama.

Murder Plot Unveiled

Cane believes that someone is plotting to kill him, and he’s relying on Chance for some help to uncover who may be behind this. Chance is a top-notch cop, so he’ll hit the ground running with an investigation.

Could he wind up figuring out who wants to end Cane’s life and confront them? Is this how his story ends on canvas?

Then again, it’s not hard to see Chance potentially taking a bullet for Cane. After all, Chance has been trained to risk his life to save others.

Chance’s passing could unleash some chaos within the land of GC, as not only will loved ones mourn the man, but some may also blame Cane for his demise. Cane may reel from guilt, as well.
