When Chance and Abby reunited, the couple were overjoyed to see each other. Abby was especially grateful as she was told Chance was dead. After sharing a heartwarming embrace, Chance scolded Abby for the risk she took coming to him. After all, the people who bombed the safehouse could have trailed her. Abby insisted that she covered her tracks so well that even Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) couldn’t locate her. Then, Chance told Abby that he couldn’t leave Spain and she had to play the grieving widow until he completed his mission.

Abby told Ashley about Chance and that is when he walked into the living room to see they had company. Chance immediately exploded.
