The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Chancellor Wants To Be A Peacemaker

Chance has ceased his cop heroics and moved into the role of a businessman, but that doesn’t mean he can’t still see trouble and be a different type of hero.

It seems obvious he wants to be a peacemaker during Chancellor-Winters’ latest crisis, Chance has done his best to keep peace during the latest drama at the company.

He could easily step in and try to settle Devon Hamilton-Winters’ (Bryton James) and Billy Abbott’s (Jason Thompson) latest feud and push for harmony between the two.

Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) has been concerned about Billy’s ideas being ignored due to Devon’s lack of trust, which has caused the office to become a pressure cooker.

That’s why she sent Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) to push for the name change to Abbott-Chancellor-Winters or ACW for short and try to sort out the work environment as well.

Y & R Spoilers – Stirring The Pot, Cooler Heads Needed

So far it seems Amanda’s only been stirring the pot, and cooler heads are needed, since she’s making matters worse; with Chance’s law enforcement experience, he has a unique skill set.

He’s dealt with hostage crises and other risky situations that required negotiation with dangerous people, so he can keep a cool head when one is needed.

Abby has been worried about the board vote ahead, especially since her seat isn’t yet official; after her confrontation with Amanda at Society especially.

Abby is concerned about her new career goals going up in smoke, with the personal vendetta Amanda seems to have against her-this is where Chance could be her hero.

Chance could step in and make a big speech about everyone understanding the value of teamwork-including Abby’s part and her valuable input.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – The Exes In Close Work Quarters

If Abby gets this board seat that will put the exes in close work quarters, and potentially spending a lot of work time together.

Of course, Devon would be there too so the chances of an office romance would be slim-but Summer may not think about that.

Summer could view Chance’s work rescue of Abby as a threat to their romance, having recently come off Kyle Abbott’s (Michael Mealor) rejection.

Kyle cheating on Summer with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was a “work thing” too and she’s not really healed up well from that. She could easily be mistrustful of Chance, which certainly wouldn’t be a good thing this early in the game!
