The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) will get pulled into the Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) case. It looks to be a life-changing investigation, one that will cause Chance to question whether he needs a career change.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chance Chancellor May Be Familiar
With Chance’s FBI and Pentagon background, it’s entirely possible that he may be familiar with Jeremy Stark since Stark is a major career criminal having done time in Federal prison. Federal classification criminals deal in large scale crime, such as money laundering and people trafficking, sometimes black market adoptions. They can also be involved in large scale drug trafficking, cartels and other big boy crime.
The “coven” trying to get rid of Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) could have probably saved themselves a lot of time and danger for themselves by calling in the big guns! The cases Chance has been involved in prior to moving to Genoa City and marrying Abby Abbott-Newman-Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) weren’t small potatoes.
Y & R Spoilers: – A Dangerous Game
Recently, Jack and Diane have been playing a dangerous game, trying to play Stark, with Diane pretending to want to get back into a romantic relationship with him. Their goal has been to try and pay him off what Diane owed him moneywise and her play-cozying has obviously been to try and regain his trust. That kind of activity is best left to experienced undercover sting trained law enforcement, and that might be how Chance is drawn in. Jack and Diane could easily get in over their heads and even request Chance’s advice or help. It’s very possible that Chance could get into a very dangerous situation with Stark, even for him with all his training and experience and he could consider a career change.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Sharon Rosales May Be An Influence
Y&R spoilers show Chance has been getting close to Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) although it’s been close friends so far, which makes sense. Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) hasn’t been gone all that long and Chance isn’t even divorced yet, but they have been supporting each other emotionally. Sharon is no stranger to how it can be for the wife of someone in law enforcement, or for the person working in it either.
Before she was with Rey, several years back she was married to Dylan McAvoy (Steve Burton) who wound up going into witness protection. Sharon may be an influence on Chance when the going gets tough in this case, and will support him in any possible career change he may pursue.
