The Young and the Restless Spoilers: Chance Stuns Jill With His Future Plans – Is He Leaving The FBI?

The Young and The Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) will talk to her grandson, Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) about his future in an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!

Chance has decided to stay in Genoa City and has talked to Police Chief Paul Williams (Doug Davidson) about possibly joining the Genoa City police force in some capacity. Chance has decided that relationship with family and friends – and hopefully Abby Newman (Melissa Ordway) – is more important to him at this time in his life than constantly traveling chasing bad guys. He still wants to chase bad guys but he doesn’t want to be doing it all over the country or the world, he wants to be able to live in one place and settle down a bit and chase the bad guys in his home town!

Y&R Spoilers–Jill Abbott Will Be Surprised By Her Grandson’s Decision

Jill will be surprised by her grandson’s decision, and probably pleased! He was difficult to keep in touch with as an FBI agent and before that his working for the Pentagon. It was difficult for him to keep in touch as well because so much of his work was undercover and communicating with anyone could compromise his missions or his identity if his communications were traced by the wrong person or persons!

Prior to that, he had been in the witness identity program for a while after faking his death, although Jill knew he was alive because he revealed himself. However, since he has had a history of not staying in one place for very long she may not be convinced that he really will follow through this time either, so she will want to have a sit down with him and talk to him about his future.

Young & Restless Spoilers–Jill Abbott Will Tell Chance Chancellor To Weigh His Options

Jill will probably tell Chance to not make any rash decisions and to think about his decision to quit the FBI and stay in town, probably taking a job with the police. Paul has had the same concerns, knowing his history of moving around and not staying in one place or even one job for very long at a time; the FBI is probably the longest-lasting job that Chance has had in his life! He shouldn’t have any problems getting the job, in fact, Abby had offered him to take Phyllis Summers’ (Michelle Stafford) job of head of security for The Grand Phoenix after she fired her, but he turned her down on that.

He would rather do real police work than security work, although he appears to be an expert with security systems. Chance feels like he has considered all the possibilities and options, however, and he will explain that he’s tired of being a lone ranger, so to speak, and wants to have close relationships – including with his grandma Jill!

Stay tuned to Y&R and keep checking The Young and The Restless spoilers frequently for all the latest news, updates and developments!
