According to Ordway’s interview in the November 22, 2021 issue of Soap Opera Digest, Abby finds something that triggers a memory. It isn’t explained what it is, but it is “significant.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Ordway teases that whatever item jogs Abby’s memory sends her on a “whole new journey.” The actress explained to the magazine that Abby will begin to piece things together. So, it sounds like it’s not just a clue, but maybe an intentional breadcrumb that Chance left “just in case.”

“… she starts piecing things together… there are parts of his life that he’s been very quiet about and not shared with her, so she’s discovering a part of him that she knew nothing about. And then she comes across something that triggers memories for her. It’s substantial enough that she thinks she may be onto something, and this puts her on a whole new journey.”

It is teased that Abby sends a distress call, but she must not disclose her location, or the conversation gets cut off. After the distress call, Devon and Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) agree to join forces and try to find Abby.

It is already confirmed that Chance returns to Genoa City in late November. So, he is alive but what is the distress call about? Could Abby’s search for the truth land her in a troubling situation? Is Chance in this same dangerous predicament and if so, how will Victor and Devon find them? Will this experience change Chance and Abby’s relationship, especially since there seems to be a secret?       All I can say is hope nothing happens to Abby after she puts all the clues together than
      goes searching for her husband Chance.

      I hope that she doesn't go looking for Chance. He could come home, and she would never forgive herself if. That happened. And she missed him. And he will probably be mad if he comes home and finds that the baby isn't there. She does need to get her act together if she plans on raising Dominic.
