The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Chelsea Fears For Adam’s Future – Victor Works With Her To Protect Son

CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers document that Chelsea Lawson’s (Melissa Claire Egan) fear about Adam Newman’s (Mark Grossman) future is justified. While he rejects his father’s version of events, Chelsea knows that what happened in Kansas must be addressed.

When the much-anticipated new Y&R episodes return (starting on August 10), viewers will see that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) and Chelsea are working together. Both characters care deeply for Adam, while also knowing that Connor Newman’s (Judah Mackey) world must be protected.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Father And Son’s Feelings Count

Viewers recall that Adam had twisted himself so tight in the recent past that he chose to leave Genoa City, Wisconsin. Adam’s return to Las Vegas, Nevada, was brief, as his nemesis brother, Nick Newman (Joshua Morrow), helped to retrieve him.

Connor spun out of control during Adam’s momentary reprisal as Spider. Chadam’s son’s attempt to fly off the top of a slide resulted in a broken arm. Everyone, including the returned Adam, was thankful that Connor’s injury wasn’t far more serious.

Adam’s feelings for his own son might give Victor an emotional opening as he tries to prevent further trouble from developing.

Y&R Spoilers – Tying Two Problems Together

Victor knows that Adam killed A.J. Montalvo (no actor known to be cast for this retrospective role), but that it was an act of defense. The then child version of Adam was protecting his mother, Hope Wilson (Signy Coleman), who was being pressured by the loan shark to make good for her husband, Cliff Wilson’s (David Cowgill), debt.

Viewers didn’t know if Victor had learned about Adam’s other murder problem when Y&R was last seen in April. That issue was revisited by Adam and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) at that time.

It’s reasonable to believe that part of the storyline was left open-ended in order for it to become a focal point at a later time. So, why not now?

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chadam Threatened By Kansas And Nevada

Adam’s personal stability rests with Chelsea being by his side. While he’s not perfect when they’re together, at least she’s generally able to keep him in check. Adam’s paternal feelings for Connor also impacts the choices he makes.

In order for the Chadam family to remain intact, Victor and Chelsea will need Adam to acknowledge what happened in Kansas. But he’ll likely also need their help in dealing with the Nevada murder fallout, which is a claimed act of self-defense.
