Chadam remarriage plans were barely referenced after this couple got back together at the beginning of the year. Their official revival was assumed, but no actual wedding was discussed.
The above seemed to leave the door open to an eventual breakup. Why would two people who had been married and were separated for years due to Adam’s assumed death and resulting amnesia not get remarried many months ago?
So, Chelsea’s mention of soon becoming Adam’s wife again was noteworthy when Egan offered that dialogue in the penthouse. But will it actually happen?

Y&R Spoilers – Shadam Revival Is The Obvious Tease
An easy conclusion would have Sharon and Adam bonding due to what surely projects as highly emotional therapy sessions. The depth of feeling each person has retained for the other leads viewers to believe that Shadam could revive at almost any point.
This development could be kept secret from Chelsea and Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso). Then again, one, or both people could learn about it, or be told.
However, other intriguing options also exist. Among them include Adam’s psyche being damaged, rather than aided by the therapy that’s about to begin.

What if Adam doesn’t open up, but instead regresses? It’s not impossible to believe that he could walk through a metal door that damages his mind, or serves to force bad news out.
While Spider may not emerge, whatever information that has been locked in Adam’s mind could produce revelations that Sharon wasn’t expecting to hear. Among them would be what happened in Las Vegas, Nevada, where Adam killed a second guy.
Chelsea’s protective feelings for Adam are also related to their son, Connor Newman (Judah Mackey). This is a legitimate reason why Chelsea hasn’t rushed back into marrying Adam. She wanted to try and make sure he wasn’t going to destabilize her son’s life.
The approved therapy sessions will almost certainly produce results. The depth and importance of those outcomes could significantly impact Chadam’s future, along with Shey’s.
