CBS The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that Chelsea Newman (Melissa Claire Egan) is ready to once again take matters into her own hands. She has a new plan, but this time around it involves Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson). Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is once again determined to take his father Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) down for covering up his son’s role in the death of A.J. Montalvo. Here’s what you need to know.

Needless to say, Chelsea fully supports Adam, but at the same time, she suggests that they neutralize Billy first before he interested in their Victor scheme. Speaking to Soap Opera Digest in a new interview, The Young and the Restless co-executive producer and head writer Josh Griffith offers, “Chelsea fears that Alyssa told Billy about Adam killing A.J. She warns Adam that if Billy knows the truth, he will use it to his advantage to take Adam down. Chelsea knows what Billy is capable of, but she also knows how to beat him at his own game.”

The Young and the Restless spoilers say that Chelsea assures Adam that she has figured out how they can learn how much Billy knows, and whether or not he will keep that information to himself. When Chelsea shows up at Society, she turns on the charm with none other than Theo Vanderway (Tyler Johnson).

Griffith explains, “Chelsea needs an entrée into Chancellor Communications and quickly realizes that Theo is an easy mark. Theo is so distracted by Chelsea’s flirting that he doesn’t realize he’s being conned by the tone of the best.”
