Rey immediately went to see Chelsea when her doctor, who is on Victor’s payroll, called. The detective thought that she was going to offer a full confession, which is why he bolted to her after hours and had his work materials with him.

But Chelsea was more about expressing emotions, than offering evidence. That kept Rey guessing as to what her real motives were and remain.

Y&R Spoilers – Adam Newman Has Measured Sympathy

Adam told Sharon Rosales (Sharon Case) and Victor that he doesn’t want Chelsea to suffer. The one-time half of Chadam recognizes that his actions led to Chelsea’s stroke and the terrible physical and mental ordeal she suffered as a result.

However, Adam’s sympathies are measured. Connor is his son and considering Chelsea’s mental state, he is the stable parent right now.

Mackey was seen in recent weeks, via a video chat. So, it’s possible that the actor will be on the set in the coming episodes. If so, Connor’s parents will likely be in the midst of a custody disagreement or battle.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chelsea Lawson Accepts Reality Or Escapes?

Y&R fans know that Egan and her husband are expecting a baby this August. Viewers saw that the actor was wearing loose-fitting clothing this spring as she started to show.

Patient garb allows Egan’s pregnancy to remain cloaked for a while longer. But she will take maternity leave in the summer. Recording schedules would then put Chelsea off-screen in September unless Egan films enough advanced scenes to keep her character in the picture.

Accepting reality would mean that Chelsea either stays at the facility or is transferred to another location for an extended period of rest. Michael Baldwin’s (Christian Le Blanc) decisions, as Genoa City, Wisconsin’s District Attorney, will likely be influenced by Rey’s evolving take.

If a decision is made that keeps Chelsea indefinitely confined, then she could either go along with it or escape.
