Enter Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope), with whatever her next scheme becomes. Yes, that means Chloe is in danger.

Kevin Fisher (Greg Rikaart) rightfully put Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) on notice. Rikaart’s character believes that he can see what Adam himself may not. No matter the cover, the real Adam lies underneath the veneer. With that Chloe remains in danger the longer she works at Newman Media.

Chelsea needed to help her mother, Anita Lawson (Catherine Bach). There is no deception in that decision, as Rey Rosales (Jordi Vilasuso) confirmed.

But the above scenario leaves Chloe on her own. The fact that Hendrickson’s character has chosen to work for Adam, as a means of offering her best friend an outlet to eventually return to, is honorable. Yet, as Kevin fears, that decision likely isn’t best for Chloe.

Egan’s maternity leave probably means that Chelsea will be occasionally visible on Y&R through presumed advanced scenes that were shot. With that and the anticipated birth of the actor’s baby later this month, Chelsea should return to Genoa City, Wisconsin, sometime later in the fall or by winter.

Y&R Spoilers – Can Adam Newman’s Reform Plan Hold?

Adam understands all the skepticism that he’s facing. His backstory is littered with people who he victimized. A number of Adam’s enemies live in GC, with his arch nemesis being Chloe.

While Adam wants to continue on the straight path that he’s been walking, it is fully reasonable for Kevin to think otherwise. Even if Adam continues to sustain his momentum some daytime event could thrown him off, allowing for a regression to the dark side of his persona.

Adam has intentionally made peace with the mother of the girl (Delia Abbott, as played by Sophie Pollono) he accidentally hit and killed in 2013. That is a worthy effort for sure. But with it comes enormous risk on multiple levels.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Chloe Mitchell Isn’t Over It

Chloe feels that she has to push forward with her plan to get the fashion platform established. Doing so aids Chelsea’s recovery efforts, as she has a legitimate professional goal to strive toward during her time in Minnesota.

Chelsea is slowly regaining her mental health. Along with that, Chloe believes that she needs to be present when Egan’s character comes back in order to prevent another Chadam reunion.

The above is the exact source of future tension that could serve to destabilize Chloe and Chelsea’s lives, as well as threaten their friendship again. Kevin sees many moves ahead, which is one of the reasons why he was right to put Adam on notice.
