The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Tucker McCall’s (Trevor St. John) intimate wedding ceremony went off the rails when Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) and Diane Jenkins-Abbott (Susan Walters) presented the bride with a generous gift, her My Beauty line.

A fracas ensued and everyone left early to avoid more emotional fallout and shouting, including Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) and Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
Afterward the couple got refreshments and Chelsea dropped a bomb. Is this the beginning of the end for them?

Chelsea knows that Billy is pretending to side with Jack and Diane, against Ashley and Tucker. That’s why he yelled and got the blazes out of the Chancellor mansion after causing a scene. Afterward Chelsea and Bily got refreshments and Chelsea surprised Billy with a comment about his behavior.
Chelsea noted that his “act” looked an awful lot like his old bad boy days. He assured her that he is just playing his part, trying to fool Ashley and Tucker.

But Billy has had some internal monologues about his role, and he seems to be questioning his own loyalty. Billy is the family screwup and playing the good guy is not his natural role.
It’s not a stretch to believe that he would turn on Jack if it benefited him.
Chelsea knows Billy well and they share a child together. Maybe this is why she is uncomfortable seeing him put in the danger zone, where he could revert back to his old ways.
