Y&R spoilers reveal that Christel made an announcement on Instagram. The actress is officially engaged to Sam Restagno. This is really exciting news. However, the actual proposal happened a few months ago, although fans are just learning about it now. On the social media site, Khalil wrote,
“A couple months ago I said yes to the love of my life. We hate taking pictures so thank you to our beautiful friends for finally making us! Thank you @indigolabyogi for being such an amazing photog. And thank you @srestagn for asking me to be your partner in life. I could not be happier to tether myself to you forever…”

In Khalil’s post, a photo was shared of her sweetly and happily kissing Restagno. The two appear to be totally in love and looking forward to the new chapter in their lives. In the photo, Khalil and Restagno are wearing matching sweaters. However, it wasn’t intentional, which just shows how in tune they are with each other. Sounds and looks like the two are truly a perfect match!

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that everyone had excited and heartwarming reactions to the engagement news. The ones that already knew loved that there was such a lovely photo of the two together. As Khalil mentioned in her engagement announcement, she’s not a big fan of photos. That makes this picture just that much sweeter!
Y&R co-stars Courtney Hope (Sally Spectra), Michelle Stafford (Phyllis Summers), and Lauralee Bell (Christine Williams) all expressed their joy for Khalil’s news.

Khalil joined the CBS soap in 2002 to play the new Lily. The actress remains in that role to this day, making it quite the long stretch. In addition to Y&R, Khalil has also been in The Sinbad Show, Matilda, Family Matters, That’s So Raven, Malcolm in the Middle, and W.I.T.C.H. Khalil also had appearances in NCIS: Los Angeles, 2 Broke Girls, and Good Deed.

Seems like there's getting a lot of characters to mouths to feed with stories on this show. We already have a situation where the character Rey was going hungry for a decent story. Rey had so much potential but instead we are going round in circles with Ashland, get to the point of this story. Jack now has a hen house wirh two new women in his life plus Tracy and Ashley who already barely have anything meaningful to do. Is more people really the answer? I would think concentrating on stories for the characters already waiting around doing next to nothing should the the priority and better for the budget. Good stories don't necessarily need more characters, just talented writers thats where the show should be firing and hiring not losing Rey and adding more characters to hang around saying and doing the same old thing every episode.
