Adam Newman Is Christian’s Biological Father
Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) is the biological father of Christian, which means Y&R will need to explore this storyline eventually.
Chelsea Lawson (Melissa Claire Egan) has finally established a connection with Johnny Abbott (Paxton Mishkind) as his birth mother, leading Adam to potentially desire a relationship with Christian in the near future.
This longing is particularly poignant as Adam reflects on the daughter he lost, especially now that Sally Spectra (Courtney Hope) is expecting a child with Billy Abbott (Jason Thompson).
While Adam will always cherish Connor Newman (Judah Mackey), Christian is also his blood. Christian learned about his paternity at a young age, but he will certainly grasp the situation if a teenage recast appears in Genoa City.

Christian May Be Rebellious As A Teenager And Take After Adam
We can envision Christian becoming a bit rebellious during his teenage years, possibly displaying some traits reminiscent of Adam that Nick may not approve of.
As Christian feels a pull towards Adam, this could create tension with Nick once his storyline about overcoming drug addiction concludes, and we have to wonder who’s been caring for Christian recently as well.
Although Nick is portrayed as a great father-at least according to what we’ve heard about Christian’s upbringing off-screen-it’s reasonable to think that Christian might seek to connect with his biological dad eventually.
If Christian arrives as a teenager and insists on spending time with Adam, it could raise red flags for Nick. Should Christian begin to act out, Nick might worry about him inheriting Adam’s more dangerous tendencies.
