The Young And The Restless Spoilers suggest that the romance between Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) and Holden Novak (Nathan Owens) could be on the road to a breakup.

Claire and Holden have had many issues during their relationship and have overcome them all. Could this be the one thing that Claire cannot get past?

Holden Novak Needs A Job

Holden has been looking for a job for a while now and hasn’t had any luck. Holden even decided to put out some feeler in his old stomping ground of Los Angeles.

Cane Ashby (Billy Flynn) has offered Holden a job and he thought is was a great idea. Unfortunately, Claire is far from thrilled with Holden’s choices and doesn’t want him to take this job.

Holden kept his secrets about what happened in Los Angeles with Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) until just a few weeks ago. Claire got past this and decided to give her relationship with Holden a try.

Holden had just accepted a job at Chancellor when Cane offered it and Claire was the first person he called. Claire was not happy and told Holden that was a mistake.

Claire Newman Doesn’t Trust Cane Ashby

Claire has witnessed every bad thing that Cane has done since he arrived back in Genoa City. Claire is not happy with what Cane did to try and take Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) company from him.

Cane created the program that Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford) used to take the company for herself.

Claire doesn’t believe that Cane can be trusted and she would prefer that Holden not get mixed up with him again.

However, Holden’s sister, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) is the one who actually owns Chancellor and isn’t going to allow Cane to get out of line. Is Claire worried about nothing, or will this be a deal breaker for her and Holden?

How Long Will Claire Newman Support Holden Novak’s Decision?

Claire has decided that she will try to support Holden’s decision to work at Chancellor.

However, this could change down the road now that Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) is trying to use Matt Clark (Roger Howarth) to set Cane up.

Cane knows what Matt is up to, will this put Holden in the middle of their drama again?

Holden may be able to give Cane information on Matt since he knows him from Los Angeles. Could Cane ask Holden to keep an eye on Matt and get to the bottom of what he is doing?

If Holden end up helping Cane take down Matt and Victor, will this be the end of Holden and Claire’s relationship?  Will Claire continue to support Victor even if he is in the wrong?
