First of all, soap fans are wondering if Claire is a plant or mole, someone who is secretly working for the competition. During the interview, Claire brought up McCall Unlimited and that was a huge red flag.
Did she goof up and spill her real agenda, that she’s spying for Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John)? Or is it possible she’s a former McCall Unlimited disgruntled employee?

Other fans are convinced that Audra and Claire have a connection, which would fit with Claire knowing about McCall Unlimited. But would Audra even waste time on a female friend?
Thus far she’s been a she-devil, sleeping her way to the top. But fans noted that Audra wanted Nikki to hire her, so they could be in cahoots. Heaven knows that Audra needs an ally with Nikki as her boss.

Claire also mentioned that both her parents were killed in a car crash which made fans suspicious. In soap land that scenario usually means one of two things: 1. The character is lying, 2. They are out for revenge.
If Claire is out for revenge, she could be targeting just about anyone in Genoa City.

What are the odds that Claire is related to someone, or in love with someone, in Genoa City and wants the job so that she can be closer to this person? Along these lines, she could also end up being a heretofore unknown child of one of the characters.
Like who, you ask? Well, a lot has been made recently about Jack Abbott’s (Peter Bergman) old persona, Smilin’ Jack, who was a rogue and devil may care sort.
It’s totes conceivable that he has another secret offspring. And that would definitely put a wrench into his new marriage wouldn’t it?
Soap couples never stay happy for long, but whatever the reason for Claire’s entrance, most fans think it is shrouded in deception. So tell us Y&R fans, who do YOU think Claire Grace is?
