The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Claire Snitches On Victor’s Spies, Kyle & Jack Triumph?

The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Claire Newman (Hayley Erin) is mad that Grandpa Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) doesn’t approve of her relationship with Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). This is down to his hatred for Kyle’s dad, Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman).

As a result Claire is forced to pick sides. Claire was unstable when she traumatized the Newman family back when, but that was due to Jordan’s (Colleen Zenk) control. Claire has since vowed her loyalty to the clan, and is now living and working among her family. How long can this happiness last?

Can Claire Bickle Up and Be Loyal?

Claire wants Victor’s approval but she also wants Kyle. She has made noises about not agreeing with Victor’s agenda and we predict it is a matter of time before she does something rash and becomes a traitor in Victor’s eyes.

We know that Victor planted spies at Jabot via Glissade. The plants will report back to Victor and he’ll use that info to sabotage Jack’s company. Kyle is Jabot’s co-CEO and it seems far fetched that Claire would stand by and allow Victor to ruin her boyfriend’s life.

Claire Knows Victor All Too Well

Which means that Claire would have to step in and thwart Victor’s plans. This could mean snitching on Victor’s spies, allowing Jack and Kyle a chance to fire them or mislead them.
Can you imagine how furious Victor would be if Claire exposes his plot?

Explosive Y&R spoilers tease that Claire will be feeling pressured to choose a side in the Newman-Abbott war that began long before she was born. Interestingly, she only recently became aware that she’s a Newman, will this influence her allegiance?

Where Does Claire’s Allegiance Lay?

Kyle is Claire’s first boyfriend and she is reveling in the romance. It’s hard to imagine her giving up her happiness to please grumpy grandpa. After all, she played the role of would-be family assassin at one point.

Another valid question is, how stable is Claire? She’s been through a lot, including murdering (we think) her aunt Jordan. Is she really reformed or will she cross Victor by disobeying him? Be sure to tune in and find out!
