Deacon is believed to have obtained a cadaver, that was presented as Diane’s body. That is preposterous, with the fans expected to suspend disbelief to further the storyline.

Deacon is on parole. While he intended to live cleanly, telling his daughter, Hope Spencer (Annika Noelle), that through a series of jailhouse correspondence, all has not gone well.

Nikki does not know that Deacon is harboring a fugitive who is also wanted on serious criminal offenses in the state of Wisconsin. Besides that, how can Deacon rationalize providing Nikki with evidence that could result in his freedom being surrendered?
