Newman Family Disaster
Let’s start off with the Newman family, who is facing a series of issues. First of all, Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) managed to lose his family’s empire.
Not just one of the companies, but all of them. So, he is primarily focused on getting Newman Enterprises back.
However, there is more. Matt is nowhere to be found and could come after the Newmans at any time. There is also Nick’s addiction, although the family remains unaware.

Plus, Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) trial as well as what Victor has done to Lily Winters (Christel Khalil), Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry), and Mattie Ashby (Lexie Stevenson).
Victoria Newman’s Warning
Nick ran out of pain pills and then came back to the coffee house after taking one of the fentanyl pills he got from Matt.
Nick found it in his jacket pocket, and fans know those pills were supposed to “help” SHICK find Noah Newman (Lucas Adams) and Sienna Bacall (Tamara Braun). So, who knows what they are tainted with.
Victoria Newman (Amelia Heinle) has already tried to warn her brother about the pain pills. The man brushed her off. However, as the week progresses, Victoria and Sharon might both notice Nick acting even more oddly.

Sharon Newman Suspicious
Victoria isn’t the only one noticing that Nick is acting out of character. Sharon has picked up on it as well. The woman doesn’t realize it’s an addiction, but knows something is very off with Nick.
The blonde shared her suspicions with Noah, but right now, Sharon is fixated on Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes). So, she might miss additional clues.
Deal with the Devil?
Nick is desperate to stop Matt from terrorizing his family. However, Nick is also getting addicted to fentanyl. So, when Nick does finally find Matt, there could be a deal with the devil.
One part of Nick will want to kill Matt. The other part will be starving for more fentanyl to get rid of the pain, both physically and emotionally.
Will Nick end up having to do Matt’s bidding in order to keep getting the drug? Will Nick ever be able to forgive himself for helping the enemy?
