The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor’s Answer
Y&R spoilers reveal that Devon asked for more time with Dominic, including overnight visits and a change to the legal agreement. Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) wants to be sensitive to Devon’s bond with Dominic. However, Abby thinks Devon is attacking her and will give her answer during the week of January 3. Abby tells Devon that her answer is no and Dominic doesn’t need another father as he already has one… Chance.

Devon is devastated over how cruel Abby is in her announcement. Devon feels like giving up and doesn’t want to go the legal route. However, Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) tells Devon that his requests are not unreasonable and he has a fighting chance. So, it definitely sounds like a custody war is brewing, which could only fracture Devon and Abby’s friendship even further.
In addition to that, there is Chance, who feels like he has a “void” where his parenting gene should be. Chance can’t help but feel Devon is the perfect father while he can’t even connect with his own baby.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that soap babies go through a lot of drama. Typically, there is either a kidnapping, paternity switch, or a medical crisis. With Dominic, could he be given a medical emergency story as Devon and Abby get ready to face off in court? It certainly is possible.
If you look at it, a medical crisis fits right in with Dominic’s fussiness and almost colicky-type of crying. There might be a reason why Chance and Abby struggle to soothe Dominic. It might not have anything to do with Devon’s bond, but with an underlying and undiagnosed health problem.
