The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Devon Hamilton’s Baby Bond
Y&R spoilers reveal that the focus of the surrogate storyline is on Mariah Copeland’s (Camryn Grimes) bond to the baby. So, a lot of viewers predicted that Mariah would try to get custody of Dominic Newman-Abbott-Chancellor. However, it seems that fans might get a shock when it’s not Mariah that tries to take the baby, but Devon.
Devon’s bond with the baby has been made clear since the child was born. Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) could sense it and got Devon to open up about it. Each time Abby can’t console the baby or is worried about the sniffles, she calls Devon. Called “the baby whisperer,” Devon is the one person who can always get Dominic to stop fussing.

Abby wakes up from her nap and is completely different. Abby plans on flying to Spain to go piece together what happened to her husband. Despite it being an active crime scene and she’ll just get in the way, Abby is refusing to listen to reason. Abby is convinced that Chancel Chancellor (formerly Donny Boaz) is alive and intends on bringing him home.

Devon was blindsided by Abby’s announcement and she wasn’t even factoring in Dominic. Abby didn’t arrange for anyone to care for the baby or say how long she planned on being gone. Abby didn’t even think of her actions putting the baby in jeopardy. Devon had a serious issue with this and refuses to let it happen. In fact, Devon also told Amanda that he is seriously concerned about Abby. While he didn’t say anything about Abby’s ability to take care of Dominic, that is his main concern.

The Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that Devon made a promise to Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) that he would be there for Abby and Dominic. When Devon soothed the baby’s fussing, Victor mentioned how great he was with the baby. So, that is another clue of what might happen next

Dominic isn’t just worried about Abby and Dominic, he’s angry with Chance. Devon feels that Chance took an unnecessary risk knowing Abby was going to start a family via surrogacy. So, in Devon’s eyes, he might feel he has no other choice but to put Dominic first since nobody else is. However, when Abby realizes that Devon – someone she trusts completely – is trying to take her baby, how will she react? Will finding Chance be more important than keeping her baby?
