The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease the sperm donor and the surrogate mother are having a difficult time accepting their new normal and are dealing with separation anxiety.
The Young And The Restless – Regrets Bring Emotional Trauma
On Tuesday’s episode of The Young and the Restless, Abby Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) was basking in the joy of being a first-time mother. The new normal, however, is more challenging for Devon Hamilton( Bryton James) who donated his sperm, and Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) who carried the baby in her womb. Both now realize they are emotionally tied to little Dominic Abbott Newman Chancellor and neither can simply walk away.
Earlier at the Coffee House, Mariah zoned out while watching a young mother with her baby. She had difficulty focusing as Sharon Newman (Sharon Case) and Tessa Porter (Cait Fairbanks) were talking to her and they seemed concerned. Ms. Copeland admitted she still called the baby ” Bowie” and Sharon told her it was OK. When Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) tried to be polite Mariah became rattled and yelled at him.
Y&R Spoilers – The Future Is uncertain
At the Chancellor mansion, Devon seemed conflicted as Abby discussed being a single mom. He promised he would be there for her but viewers could see that he was uncomfortable. After he left Mariah showed up with the intention, of pumping breast milk. She walked over to her “Bowie” who was in his bassinet and began singing. Abby walked in looking worried and she should be. Mariah bonded with the child while they were locked in that room and spoilers tease that she might kidnap him.
When Devon was shown again he seemed in deep thought as he looked at photos of himself and his dad Neil (Kristoff St. John). There were tears in his eyes because like Mariah he has fallen in love with the son he is supposed to walk away from and for now the future looks bleak for them.

Everytime I watch the cast nursing this block of wood they are calling a baby I feel like going to Walmart and sending them a doll. They make really cheap lifelike dolls these days so why are they using a block of wood!
We knew this would happen. But since they both signed the contract. They really can’t back out. Oh I forgot this is a soap and they can change anything.
