The Young and The Restless Spoilers: Devon Follows A Lead On His Money, Colin Has Been Spotted

The Young and The Restless spoilers tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will get a lead on where his money is and follow it in an upcoming episode of The Young and The Restless!

Y&R Spoilers – Colin Atkinson Took Off With The Money After Draining His Own Son’s Account

Viewers of The Young and The Restless will recall that con man Colin Atkinson (Tristan Rogers) took off with the money after draining his own son’s accounts! Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard) had put the money in his accounts, which Devon gave to him after seeing a couple of missing pages of Katherine Chancellor’s (Jeanne Cooper) will, that had been authenticated, and seemed to indicate she had left the bulk of her estate to Cane, and not to Devon.

Devon wanted to do the right thing and so gave the money to Cane, what he had left after investing it in various companies and his own home. He apparently is feeling the pinch though, with having to shut down Power Communications and permanently laying off Mariah Copeland (Camryn Grimes) in the process.

But then after Cane thought the money would be safe in his accounts, he found them drained dry by his own father, who then took off with the money! Jill Abbott (Jess Walton) had tracked the scoundrel down in the Maldives, and Chance Chancellor (Donny Boaz) who was still with the FBI at that time had gotten Colin into custody, but somehow the slippery snake had slipped out of custody and now he’s in the wind again! Devon kept an investigation going to find Colin and return the money, and Cane had gone after him as well, and now Devon has gotten a lead as to where his money is, presumably meaning a lead on Colin as well!

The Young and The Restless Spoilers – Devon Hamilton Gets A Call

Devon gets a call from one of his investigators telling him that either Cane or Colin has been spotted, more than likely it will be Colin even though Devon still doesn’t trust Cane either. Colin was the last one known to have the money and Jill Abbott had verified that Cane’s accounts were drained. Cane had wanted to use the money for a trust fund for the twins that he and Devon’s sister, Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) had together, Charlie Ashby (Noah Alexander Gerry) and Mattie Ashby (Lexi Stevenson).

But then Cane discovered his accounts were empty, and it was discovered that his own father, Colin had somehow accessed the funds and made off with them! This would not be a surprise to Cane or Jill, and certainly not to Devon, knowing what kind of a person Colin is! Colin had once kidnapped Jill, who he had claimed to love, with no compunction!

Devon decides to pursue the lead himself since Chance is in Las Vegas with Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) taking care of other businesses and Chance is no longer in the agency, to begin with – he’s started his own investigation agency there in Genoa City. He will also call Jill and bring her up to date on what he has learned, and they will go from there.
