A mention of Amanda Sinclair (Mishael Morgan) is needed before directly addressing Devon’s next conflict. Readers of this comprehensive soap site know that Morgan has voluntarily dropped to recurring contract status so she can spend more time with her family.

Y&R Spoilers – Tucker McCall Wants His Family Legacy

Family is important to Devon. His genetic connections include his mother, Yolanda Hamilton (Debbi Morgan), her daughter Ana Hamilton (Loren Lott), and his father, Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John).

But fans fondly recall the storyline where Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John) and Drucilla Winters (Victoria Rowell) adopted Devon. He gained an adoptive sister, Lily, and was connected to the Hastings family.

Tucker’s biological mother was the Grande Dame of Genoa City, Wisconsin. The legendary Katherine Chancellor (Jeanne Cooper) had two sons, one who was known, Brock Reynolds (Beau Kazer), and the other, who was revealed to the audience in 2009, Tucker (as originally played by William Russ, 2009 and 2010, and then by Stephen Nichols, 2010-2013).

Victor Newman (Eric Braeden) hit the soapy nail on its head when mentioning the legacy connection between Tucker and Chancellor Industries during their recent cheeky conversation.

It will be intriguing to see if instead of Nate selling his shares to Newman Enterprises, as part of a cloaked scheme to take control of the company, an alliance between Tucker and Devon allows this father and son to control what once was Katherine and Neil’s company on Y&R.
