The Young and The Restless spoilers and updates tease that Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) will surprise Esther Valentine (Kate Linder) with a job offer. Esther will be absolutely floored and ask Devon if it’s for real, and he’ll tell her it absolutely is.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – What Kind Of A Job?

Not a lot has been said about Esther since May 2022 when her daughter Chloe Mitchell (Elizabeth Hendrickson) was concerned about her using a dating app. Esther managed to get a date with a nice man named Dwight (Sam McMurray) and they found they had a lot in common related to cooking. But nothing has been said since about what happened after that, and now Esther gets a call from Devon out of the blue.

Esther of course wonders what kind of job Devon is offering, since she really doesn’t have any experience except in housecleaning and cooking. She used to help Katherine Chancellor, (Jeanne Cooper) Devon’s grandmother, with setting up the big parties she used to have at the Chancellor mansion.

Esther is ecstatic that Devon believes in her enough to offer her a job, and apparently he’s taken notice of her organizational skills. Esther always kept Mrs. C’s household running like clockwork and she never had to worry about anything, and she still remembers where things were kept there. Of course, since Chance and Abby Newman-Abbott-Chancellor (Conner Floyd, Melissa Ordway) moved in no doubt things have changed, especially with a baby in the house. Esther knows now that he’s getting big enough to learn to walk things are changing even more around the mansion, with safety measures being taken. Esther thinks about these things before asking Devon what her duties will be.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Hamilton-Winters Daycare?

Devon has come up with an idea to give his grandmother’s housekeeper a job that she will love. Devon knows she loves to cook and clean and loves children, and there are Hamilton-Winters employees who could use the services of an onsite daycare. Esther won’t just be changing diapers and cooking kids’ meals, she will manage the site and screen, hire, and supervise the employees.

Devon knows it will take someone with lots of experience managing a household and making everything run smoothly to manage the onsite daycare. He thinks Esther will be just perfect for the job, and she’ll supervise the cleaning crew as well and make sure everything is in tip top shape.
