The Young And The Restless Spoilers: Devon Too Harsh With Tucker? – Neil And Chance Were Wronged

The Young and the Restless spoilers document that the progress Tucker McCall (Trevor St. John) felt he was making proved to represent over-confidence. Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) learned that Audra Charles (Zuleyka Silver) was planted inside Chancellor-Winters and verbally blasted his father about that reveal while Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) was present.

Ashley and Tucker finally reconnected, as had been expected. But the soapy walls came crashing down on Tucker when Devon entered his Grand Phoenix hotel suite.

Hardcore fans recall that Devon betrayed his adoptive father, Neil Winters (Kristoff St. John), who was married to Hilary Hamilton (Mishael Morgan). Neil was blind but starting to regain his vision in more ways than one when Devon became romantically involved with his wife.

Anyone can make a mistake, even one that cut so deep as Devon’s excessive response did. But it could be tagged as a one-off moral mistake.

Y&R spoilers say Devon and Abby Newman Abbott Chancellor (Melissa Ordway) were caught cavorting when Amanda Sinclair (Morgan) and Chance Chancellor (Conner Floyd) entered the penthouse. And that ended Devon’s relationship with the late Hilary’s sister and the marriage between Abby and Chance.

 Devon has been psychologically impacted by recent developments. That appears to have sparked his overreaction after confirming Audra was a mole.

Y&R Spoilers – Tucker McCall Did Not Seal The Deal

Ironically, Audra’s rude conversation with her boss, about Jill Abbott Atkinson (Jess Walton) and Lily Winters (Christel Khalil) giving the go-ahead to CW’s initial public offering, created a contemplative response. Tucker’s lack of authorization meant that he was not sure about proceeding.

Audra was flabbergasted that Tucker would not jump on the news she took credit for creating. But Silver’s character did not realize Tucker was reevaluating the developing bond with his father and was proceeding cautiously.

Tucker attempted to play down what happened, but Ashley was furious. The audience also recognized that she was hurt, with her true feelings for her last husband underscored.

Devon will cool down. When he does, Tucker might be able to eventually repair what happened.

But in the meantime, it would be useful for Devon to reflect. It may also be possible that Tucker will gain intel about his son’s past personal discrepancies and then confront him with that knowledge as a way to force a reevaluation on Y&R.
