The Young and the Restless spoilers indicate that it’s going to be a fight to the bitter end between Devon Hamilton (Bryton James) and his ex-brother-in-law Cane Ashby (Daniel Goddard). That’s because Devon is ready and willing to fight tooth and nail for what he believes to be his. Here’s what you need to know.

According to CBS Soaps in Depth, Devon has every reason to believe that Cane is scamming him out of the millions that rightfully belong to him. After all, Cane first showed up to Genoa City as a scammer, so who is to say that he’s not plotting something behind everyone’s backs this time around?

To make matters worse, this is all coming in the wake of Colin’s claim that Cane was part of the late Katherine Chancellor’s will con. But Cane is trying to defend himself, despite the fact that the odds are currently stacked against him. He even shows up to Devon’s penthouse in the hopes that they can talk things out, but that’s the last thing Devon wants to do. The Young and the Restless spoilers even tease that Devon will be dubious of his denials, mostly because this little con seemed to come out of nowhere. Plus, Devon has never really trusted him, not before, not now, and certainly not in the future once this is all said and done.

However, Cane insists that he’s innocent, even though his father Colin is basically throwing him under the bus. Devon can’t help but vent his anger that his grandmother’s last wish is being disrespected in such an awful way. All of his money is basically gone now that Colin has hidden it and Devon is furious that it has come to this. That’s why he wants to make sure Cane goes to prison, one way or another.

So does this mean that Cane and Devon are going to come to possible blows? Perhaps. Seeing how Devon is seething with anger, anything is possible. Cane will want to take cover and fast, too!
