The Diane character dates back decades in both real and soapy times. Walters is one of the fine actors who has portrayed the person Jack and Allie agree is evil.

Jack’s opinion may soften once he can process all that has happened in recent weeks. But he is unlikely to fall back in love with Diane. That will leave her believing that Jack is ungrateful for her efforts.

Diane seeing a vengeful romantic match to pursue dirty deeds in Genoa City, Wisconsin, would hardly be surprising. As for Ashland, it could be possible that he already knows her. If not, their shared pariah status projects to love match.

Y&R Spoilers – Ashland Locke Catches Onto Wife’s Plan

Victoria is disgusted by her husband’s revealed lie. Assuming Ashland was not set up, as he claims, Newman’s character will be confirmed as a snake that must be cut out of Victoria’s life.

A complicating factor involves Victor Newman’s (Eric Braeden) decision to make Adam Newman (Mark Grossman) the acting Chief Executive Officer of Newman-Locke. Victoria is miffed by that reactionary choice. So, it will be interesting to see if that unexpected change impacts her feelings or outlook on Ashland.

Assuming Victoria pursues her plan to prove Ashland lied about cancer as a means to merge Locke Communications Group with Newman Enterprises, she will proceed without pause. Ashland is sharp and will catch on, meaning that a confrontation between these one-time love birds is on tap.

The Young And The Restless Spoilers – Diane Jenkins Wants Back In

Diane created a fantasy in her mind. First, she faked her murder. That incredible storyline must be explained to the characters and the audience, as it seems impossible.

Praising Jack as a good man reaffirmed Diane’s fond feelings for him. It also highlighted her desire to right the past.

She will attempt to reconnect with her only known child, Kyle Abbott (Michael Mealor). If that effort fails, Diane will be distraught.

Misery loves company. So, if Ashland loses Victoria and faces strong headwinds in maintaining his tie to Newman-Locke, he will need an ally.
