The Young and the Restless (Y&R) spoilers tease that Jack Abbott (Peter Bergman) could go to great lengths to protect Diane Jenkins (Susan Walters) from any legal trouble.

Jeremy Stark (James Hyde) asked Diane for a loyalty test. He wants her to steal something from a member of high society to prove she’s still willing to go the distance for a big payoff. Jack and Diane decided to target Nikki Newman (Melody Thomas Scott) to prove her loyalty to him.
The problem with targeting Nikki is there is a good chance it won’t go according to plan. In fact, most Y&R viewers believe it is destined to fail. If it doesn’t go well, Diane could be on the hook for grand larceny charges, making Jack an accessory to committing the crime.
The Young And The Restless Spoilers– Jack Abbott Suggests Marriage As An Added Protection
Jack will have a wild suggestion to protect Diane from legal charges. He thinks they should get married so he cannot be forced to testify against her, just in case she gets caught with sticky fingers.
Of course, According to the spoilers Diane will jump at the chance to be Mrs. Jack Abbott. But she could drag her feet on saying I do, fearing Jack doesn’t love her. Perhaps, at first, Jack wants to marry Diane to protect her, but eventually, he falls head over heels in love with the con artist.

Their union would irritate Ashley Abbott (Eileen Davidson) and Phyllis Summers (Michelle Stafford). They wouldn’t understand why Jack had to marry Diane. Of course, Jack wouldn’t reveal Diane’s larceny plans. Ashley and Phyllis will think Diane has turned Jack into an idiot, fearing he will never break free from her claws.
Y&R Spoilers– Jeremy Stark Demands More
Diane and Jack haven’t considered the obvious problem with their robbery plans. Young and the Restless spoilers reveal that after Diane robs Nikki, Jeremy will ask her to commit another crime. He wants a crime with higher stakes that would prove without a shadow of a doubt that she’s ready to embark on a life of crime with him.
It will put Jack and Diane in a tough spot. They will find getting rid of Jeremy will be more challenging than they imagined. Their quickie wedding will protect Diane, just in case the police apprehend her and try to force Jack to testify against her.
